a belated birthday and links! cause ya know... I have em...
First off, a quite Belated Happy Birthday to
pointblank75 who runs Arsonist Radio, which sadly, usually taking place during a time when I couldn't give it proper attention. :(, but it's good stuff!
Here's some crazy links for you crazy people:
Tigga and Togga: This one is actually for my friends with children. It's basically a free music and animation site that's sorta like those Putt-Putt and Pajama Sam games. Without the storyline part. Just animation and songs where you click on a character or object and it makes music and dances or such. It can be fun for adults for a little bit, cause the animation is clever and the all instrumental music isn't bad, but it's really for the kids.
On September 22nd 2006, Nickeledeon airs it's newest acquistion, MR. MEATY. The show already airs on the CBC. On the Nick site you can see three episodes and on the CBC site you can play an action game. This isn't even a TEENNick show... it fits much more with The N in terms of comedy and style. It's closest partner in terms of comparison (if you like this you might like this show wise) would be O'Grady. It's a puppet show and the puppets look a bit like the puppets on Crank Yankers and the humor is a little out there, almost like Junior Adult Swim. It looks fun and those first three episodes are weird, fun and a bit messed up actually. Go watch to see what passes as children's programming... even if it really is adult.
I found about the following website on Friday night at the Open Air Art Show. It's run by this guy Marty (who actually knew me from Tribes) at Radical Records. Anyways, the site is Island of Sound and it's all about the Underground music scene in Taiwan with links and mp3s galore.
