    Time Event
    7:56p
The one panel I filmed at Pi-Con
I've been having a hell of a time trying to make this work and haven't had the time to actually cut it down into ten minute segments.

I was able to get PART 1 completed, ending with a funny bit from [info]hughcasey. Sadly for some reason the site I used was not able to turn it into am embedded FLV file.

So... here's the best I can do for now. A link to PART 1 of The Flirting Panel @ 3 Pi-Con. Enjoy!

Not sure when/if I'll get to Part Two...

If someone has ideas on how/where/what it takes to make a super high quality over 60 minute video be on-line and still look good and uncut... I'd love your input.

For now though there ya have it.

Another option for The Flirting Panel...
I have this .mov file I uploaded to my server.

I just don't like the way I cut it... and the quality is much lower. It's just tiny, but any larger and we're talking about a 500 MB file. This is the uncut version though... but seriously, the image is way too small for my tastes, but your mileage may vary.

You can either click on the link there or try this embedding:

Nerd Notes on September 3, 2008
1.) Ah... Michael Madsen as a psychopath in a Larry Bishop film... fun! Yes, I know its not a stretch.

    2.)
A still promo from the upcoming Family Guy spin-off, The Cleveland Show. Um... er? Wow... that just is... wow.

3.) Old, but I just found it is "The Vader Sessions". It's scenes from "A New Hope" overdubbed with dialogue from other James Earl Jones films and it scarily really really works.

4.) I don't think I get the travel+escape channel, nor do I lot of my people on my Flist, but if you do and you were ever a fan of Trish Stratus (fitness model, WWF superstar, um...some other stuff?), she's got a new show called Stratusphere where she basically travels the world exploring various forms of fighting, combat and self defense.

5.) I'm really not sure what the point of Oliver Stone's W. is... or why anyone who is in it actually chose to be in it. It just looks... horrible. Then I remember... most Oliver Stone films are horrible and he seems to have an affliction wanting to make "heart warming" stories about hated people (Nixon, Jim Morrison, um...other stuff).

6.) But hey... for some weird reason Ron Howard after a slew of children's flick has decided to bring the Tony Award Winning Play "Frost/Nixon" to the big screen too... so I just... what?!!? (Although Michael Sheen as David Frost is brilliant and he was said to have been brilliant in the stage version. Frank Langella's Nixon looks horrible though, shocked he won a Tony for it)

7.) Ending on a lighter note... Buffy The Vampire Slayer MMO. Hrmmm...that has promise... not that I ever have time for an MMO.
