Wednesday Night:
Alive is Dead at The Pussycat Lounge Upstairs. Back when I was a wee teenager and bassist Tom (who was about a year and a half younger) and I were really close friends and recently we'd become reacquainted despite living directly across the street from each other. I wanted to show my support and go to his band's official first gig. They have amazing sound and with time and polish they can be truly awesome I believe.
Before hand I walked around Alphabet City taking pictures and also picked up
Cavewoman: Jungle Tales #3 at St. Mark's on a whim.
Thursday: I walked from my office over to the BPC so I could see

mikemcgee blow the roof off the place! I also participated in the Cute Boy Slam with a brand new poem. Highlights of the evening were Mike McGee performing an improvised version of Puddin' directly to me and I do mean DIRECTLY. Leticia's musical haiku.
Derrick Brown... PERIOD, because Derrick Brown is the SHIT. COA and Naz rocking hosting the shindig.

Two nights of hanging out after work past 12 means I'm over 300 entries behind on LJ though. I'm going to try and catch up, BUT I MIGHT be going out again tonight.
