Looking at Comics Coming my Way
I've decided to try something quick. Under the following cut will be a list of the 63 comics coming to me in my bi-weekly shipment for July of June books. I'm going to quickly look at and try to explain my reasoning behind each book and at the same time, you might find something to buy for yourself. These will not be reviews, just quick stuff.

ACTION COMICS #879: Buying pretty much the entire SUPERMAN line of comics,Robinson and Rucka have something cool going, as well does Gates and of course Johns.
AGENTS OF ATLAS #7 and #8: Be on board with Jeff Parker's series since the first mini... great stuff.
AMAZING SPIDER-MAN FAMILY #8: Was getting this for single out of cointinuity Spidey stories and Amazing Spider-Girl, but sadly that's moving to a book called Web Of which will be in continuity features and a Spider-girl back up. Not sure I'm willing to shell out just for a back-up.
AMERICAN MCGEES GRIMM #3: Ever play the game on GAMETAP? It's that, but cooler and by Grant Bond.
ANGEL #23: The IDW series is still a good continuation of the TV show.
ASTONISHING TALES #6: This is the final issue I believe, The Kenneth Rocafort story was awesome and the Mojoworld tale was the bomb.
ASTOUNDING WOLF-MAN #17: Been with it since the Free Comic Book Day #1, has yet to be bad.
BATMAN AND ROBIN #2: Morrison, Quietly, Grayson... issue #1 was great.
BLACKEST NIGHT #1: It's an event, but it looks great.
BLACKEST NIGHT TALES OF THE CORPS #1 (OF 3): Probably should've skipped this uneeded side story, but... ah well.
BOYS #32: One of the sickest, funniest, craziest books on the market.
BRAVE AND THE BOLD #25: Gonna be hit and miss for me on this series from now on, but this one had Roger Robinson art...so!
BUCK ROGERS #2: Dynamites reintroduction was good with #0 and #1, so it's a keeper.
BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER #26: Finally Season 8 starts to build towards it major story.
BUZZBOY SIDEKICKS RULE #3: Wow... this is freaking late, I'm not even sure where I put the first two, but I love Buzzboy.
CABLE #16: As long as Duane has a good handle and there's a good artist, I'm there.
CAPTAIN AMERICA #601: The last issue for six months as Cap becomes Reborn. Could possibly be my last issue of Cap for a long time.. meaning I'm not sure I'll come back when Reborn ends.
CARTOON NETWORK ACTION PACK #39: As long as this has Ben10, Secret Saturdays, Samurai Jack and/or Kids Next Door... you got me.
CASTLE WAITING VOL II #15: Linda Medley is still cranking this out? AWESOME!
CREEPY COMICS #1: New Horror anthology with top notch creators, quarterly I believe.
CROSSED #6: Ennis and [info]jacen's Zombie epic is EPIC.
DARK AVENGERS #7: Love it or hate it type book.
DARK X-MEN BEGINNING #1: Probably could've skipped it and been fine... stupid completist in me.
DEAN KOONTZS NEVERMORE #2 (OF 6): This time-travel/dimension hopping tale is crazy.
DO ANDROIDS DREAM OF ELECTRIC SHEEP #1: Blade Runner Redux... could be amazing, preview images sold it.
EXILES #4: Parker rules.
FRANKLIN RICHARDS SCHOOLS OUT: I LOVE Eliopoulous Son of a Genius tales.
FROM THE ASHES #2: [info]bobfingerman's apocalyptic comedy is what comics was made for.
GREEN LANTERN #43: I'm getting Blackest Night and this starts the Mahnke art run, so... yeah.
GREEN LANTERN CORPS #38: Been getting this since the beggining and as long as Gleason is still the main artist I'm here. Might be gone when he is unless the replacement feels right.
INCOGNITO #5: This supervillian saga from the team behind SLEEPER and CRIMINAL is just as good as everything they've done.
INCREDIBLES FAMILY MATTERS #4 : Still looking for Issue #1, but Waid's story is great.
INVINCIBLE IRON MAN #15: Fraction & Larocca's Iron Man hasn't lost a step since the start.
JEFF SMITH LITTLE MOUSE GETS READY HC: Jeff Smith kid's book? Cool!
MIGHTY #6: Great little alternate world superhero tale with some awesome writing and better yet, Snelberg art.
MIGHTY AVENGERS #27: Dan Slott's crazy Avengers concepts are wild.
MUPPET SHOW #4 (OF 4): Landridge's Muppets own!
NEW MUTANTS #3: They brought back LEGION, they're bringing back WARLOCK. You can't keep a good X character down.
NO HERO #6: Ellis and Ryp's sadistic superhero tale keeps rolling, feels like it started years ago.
RASL #5: Jeff Smith's dimension hopping follow-up to BONE and SHAZAM.
REBELS #6: That's R.E.B.E.L.S.... and Vril Dox is an ass and love him for it.
SCALPED #30: Jason Aaron and RM Guera's Indian Reservation/FBI story is coming to a close and it's been an amazing ride. Hunt it down.
SIMPSONS SUPER SPECTACULAR #9: Part 3 of a Big Simpsons crossover drawn by Tone Rodriguez.
SINFEST TP DARK HORSE ED VOL 01: Tatsuya Ishida!!!!!!
SOLOMON GRUNDY #5 (OF 7): Leads into Blackest Night and Skott Collins art and story have been great.
STAR WARS INVASION #1: This book takes place not long after Return of the Jedi, during the New Jedi Era.
STAR WARS KNIGHTS OLD REPUBLIC #43: The game is starting to get involved in this awesome book.
SUPER FRIENDS #17: It's a kids book sure, but it's also a great departure and feels like the old cartoon.
SUPERMAN WORLD OF NEW KRYPTON #5 : Already discussed the Superman books.
TERRY MOORES ECHO #13: This thing is moving slower than Strangers in Paradise did... but I still like it.
UNBOUND SAGA ONE SHOT: Based on the PSP game I won't be playing, there's a great writer/artist line up on this. Or wait is the game based on the comic? Not sure... who cares.
UNCANNY X-MEN #513: I'm on board with this for awhile I think.
UNWRITTEN #3: Everytime I think I'm almost free of Vertigo they pull me back in.
WAR OF KINGS #5 (OF 6): Not sure where this is headed since they haven't announced any new series jumping from it... but it's been fun.
WEDNESDAY COMICS #1 and #2: If you like comics and aren't getting this, you don't like comics.
WELCOME TO FOREST ISLAND HC: Bwana Spoons is awesome!
WEREWOLVES ON THE MOON VERSUS VAMPIRES #2: Fillback Brothers rule.
X-FACTOR #46: One of the best books on the market.
X-MEN FOREVER #3: Getting this for the art and the nostalgia.
YOUNG LIARS #17: David Lapham's crazy rock romp will read great in one sitting at the end.
ZOMBIES THAT ATE THE WORLD #4 : Zombiesssss... I hate em actually, but I like Zombie Comedy!
